Exclusive, unique and precious Japanese Tsumami-zaiku Upcycle Flower Bloom.  Unlike the DIY kit which you need to make on your own, you can now purchase a completed Tsumami-zaiku Upcycle Flower Bloom that has been beautifully made for you.  Ideal for those who do not have the spare time to spend on the craft and would like to purchase for own use or as a gift.

Do note that the choice of colours are subjected to availability, on a first-come-first serve basis as the fabric arehese beautiful fabric are from Japanese Yukata fabric where there are some slight defects, according to the “Chusen Dyeing” tradition of Sakai.  But when cut up into smaller pieces, and carefully,. patiently glued together to form the beautiful flowers, the fabrics are given a new lease of life!

Hence, every piece of Tsumami-zaiku is unique and special in its own colour combination.

Tsumami-zaiku” is a traditional craft passed down since the Edo period. It is a technique of combining small fabric pieces by folding and pinching to create flowers of the four seasons, etc.

“Sakai Chusen Dyeing” is a technique where you color fabric by pouring dye over it. It is designated as a national traditional craft.
